Terms of Service

Accounts are free. Premium features are available through one-time payments:

• Standard: Free - Basic features and customization options
• Premium (€8): Every paid feature, including all effects, the premium badge, larger uploads and enhanced customization

Payment terms:

• Premium and extras are one-time payments processed through Stripe
• No recurring charges or automatic renewals
• If you are a consumer, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days and rights if the service is faulty. Exceptions to withdrawal apply only where the legal conditions are met; using a feature does not automatically waive your rights.
• To cancel a purchase, withdraw from it or ask for a refund, email [email protected] or open a ticket in our Discord server. Tell us your page name and when you bought it (or the Stripe receipt), so we can find the payment.
• Lifetime Premium provides paid features for the lifetime of the evilkitty service, subject to these Terms and your statutory rights. It is not a guarantee that the service will operate indefinitely.

Upload limits for your page:

• Pictures: 4MB per file, or 15MB with Premium
• Video backgrounds (Premium): 50MB per file
• Songs: 5MB per file, or 8MB with Premium

Content ownership and restrictions:

• You retain ownership of content you create and upload
• You grant us license to use, store, and display your content to provide the service

Prohibited content includes:

• Illegal, harmful, or threatening material
• Copyright or trademark infringement
• Malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Harassment, abuse, or hate speech
• Sexually explicit or inappropriate content
• Spam or unauthorized commercial content

These rules also apply to comments. Page owners can delete comments on their own page, and we may remove comments that break these Terms.

Image hosting lets you upload files with ShareX or from your dashboard and share links to them. It is an extra you buy once and includes 5 GB of storage; more storage can be added in 5 GB packs.

• You can upload images (PNG, JPEG, GIF, WebP) and short videos (MP4, WebM) of up to 50 MB each, and text pastes of up to 512 KB.
• You are responsible for the files you upload and the links you share. Everything listed under Content and Conduct applies to hosted files. You also may not upload:
  • sexual content involving minors, in any form; we report it to the relevant authorities
  • images of other people shared without their consent, or their personal data (doxxing)
  • content you don't have the right to share
  • malware, or files made to deceive people, such as phishing pages
• Private files can only be opened by you, except that our moderators may open one when handling a report or a suspected breach of these Terms. The same rules apply to private files.
• When a JPEG, PNG or WebP picture or an MP4 video is uploaded we remove the metadata stored inside it, such as its location and camera details. The picture itself is not changed. GIF and WebM files are kept as they are.
• Anyone can report a file with the Report link on its page or on the report page. We review reports and may remove a file or restrict access to it when the law or these Terms require it.
• If you break these Terms we may delete files, turn off image hosting on your account, or suspend your account. A suspended account's files are hidden while the suspension lasts; if the suspension is permanent, its files are deleted 30 days later.
• If image hosting is turned off or files are removed because you broke these Terms, the purchase is not refunded, except where the law gives you that right. Your statutory rights described under Payments and Premium are not affected.
• When your storage is full, new uploads stop and your existing files stay. Pastes with an expiry time are deleted when it passes. Deleting your account deletes all your hosted files.

With Premium you can show your image host files on a domain of your own, such as pics.example.com.

• You may only add a domain you own or are allowed to use, and you prove it with a DNS record
• The domain shows only your own files; its main address goes to your page
• Its certificate is issued through Cloudflare, which receives the domain name. The domain stops working on evilkitty if its DNS records are removed, you remove it, your Premium ends or your account is deleted
• We may refuse or remove a domain that is used to deceive people (for example one that imitates another brand), to share content that breaks these Terms, or that we can't verify

You can make API keys in the dashboard to read your page, your statistics and your files, and to upload files, from your own apps and scripts.

• Keep your keys secret. You are responsible for everything done with them; revoke a key you no longer trust
• Stay within the rate limits, and don't use the API to collect other people's pages in bulk or to get around limits
• We may revoke keys or block access that harms the service or breaks these Terms
• We describe the API in the docs and announce changes there; we try not to break the current version
